Someone has well stated “Holiness is a passion for God.” But equal to that is “Holiness is a sincere faith.” What beautiful one liners that define Godliness as a life style in this present world.

As we watch our world leaders struggle over the challenges in the economy with so many without jobs, foreign and domestic; as well, the borders of what once provided a very secure nation can be penetrated by just an ordinary young boy with hate in his heart from the other side of the world.

But where is the professing church in the middle of this chaos? Let me show you how I believe the church world may need to take a hard look in the mirror and make the necessary corrections. When I hear people describing their faith – as in style of music in church or do you dance or jump or better yet, “what kind of entertainment do you have?” Surely, it seems as if leadership has become so enamored with power and titles we’ve lost our way. I want to know how big is your Jesus in the middle of your daily life? Another way to put it is, for what do you have passion or for Whom?

You see, here we are as the Church with a chaotic world screaming for help, on our hands and we have the answer – it is Jesus. But we can’t offer Jesus if He is not the passion of our lives. We have so many programs and things going on today; Jesus is only for special occasions. But we can’t offer Him in a frantic turmoil; we’ll have to present Jesus, the “Lily of the Valley” as our norm. And even when all around us there is war Jesus is the “Prince of Peace”. I want to encourage you to embrace Jesus and all that He has to offer and you too will find Him to be the Source for your life. You may not be able to resolve the problems of the world but you could show the beauty of Jesus to your family. You could reflect Jesus on the job and that is what the world needs more than anything else today.

Our churches want to be worshippers of Jesus as Lord and Savior. Also, we want to allow the Being of Jesus to produce on the inside what we can not, a passion for God. Make yourself a part of our fellowship today.
